How Do
I Know if I Should Get The Bone Conduction System?
Does Your Child Cover His/Her Ears? Children who cover their ears to avoid particular sounds or avoid noisy places are hypersensitive to sound. They take in sounds too much with their bones instead of their ears. They often have a variety of sensory integration issues as well such as not liking things on their heads/ears or tactile and oral sensitivities (those picky eaters...). These children can greatly benefit from the bone conduction system. Bone Conduction desensitizes the body to all the hypersensitivities by sending the sounds first to the skull bone via a transducer imbedded in the headphone before it goes to the inner ear for processing. Bone conduction is a more effective means of stimulating the vestibular system (inner ear) than just air conduction alone. Sounds travel faster through bone than through air. Bone conduction is also the dominant means of intra-uterine listening, the way a fetus becomes wired for sound. Think your child won't wear these headphones due to their hypersensitivities? We Carefully Monitor This Program A Note To Parents: As your child is changing and new neural connections are being made during this transition phase, the process is made a lot easier if you have our experience behind you. That is why all auditory training packages on this website include training to get you started and monitoring and supervision throughout your entire program by a Certified Provider. We stay with you to give you guidance and advice. TRAINING. We first train you in how to administer this sound therapy program. Once you get your equipment, we will have a call to set you up. This will take about an hour. We go through everything you need to know prior to beginning this program with your child. MONITORING. Weekly calls (weekly monitoring) or every-other-week calls (twice-a-month monitoring) allow you and your Provider to have a set day/time to discuss how the program is going, what changes you are seeing, how your child is progressing and if any modifications to the program need to be made based on your observations. We take the time with you. You don't just have a piece of equipment. You have a friend and a navigator on this journey. We care! only in stereo (left and right). The enhanced technology with this

available on the market today. Not all sound therapy is the same. This system is like being a conductor of
an orchestra with all the instruments surrounding you. We train your
brain to go find a sound source! Have trouble wondering where that siren
is coming from when you are driving? Is someone calling your name? Don't
